MILLWALL are reportedly leading the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur younger Kion Etete.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at League One side Cheltenham Town, scoring three goals and assisting three more in 13 apperances in the league.
The Lions are on the lookout for more attacking options as Sheyi Ojo and Jed Wallace are both set to leave the club.
Ojo will return to Liverpool following the end of his loan spell and Wallace is still yet to sign a new contract at the club, meaning he will leave once his contract expires.
Etete could be avalaible as his contract at Spurs expires at the end of next season. He has been at the north London club since 2018.
The Derby-born front man has both powet and athelticism as attibutes in his game, which could help strengthen the Lions frontline.
Millwall however do face competition from Portsmouth according to The News, the local media in Portsmouth.
Gary Rowett's side scored 53 goals in the Championship last season, which was the second worst record out of any team in the top half of the division.
