DEFENDER Harry Toffolo has been linked with a move to Millwall after an outstanding season for Huddersfield.
The left-back made 42 appearances for the Terriers in the Championship this season, scoring six goals and assisting seven more.
He helped Huddersfield to a third-place finish in the league, but could become available should the club not earn promotion through the play-offs as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season, although his club does have a one-year extension option.
Toffolo has always been regarded as an attacking and has the quality to bolster most sides in the division.
Should Huddersfield not get promoted, then Toffolo could be interested in a move away from the club and earn a longer deal elsewhere.
If the west Yorkshire side does get up into the Premier League, then it is likely the defender will want to stay at the club and test his skill in England's top flight.
According to TeamTalk, Millwall are interested in signing the 26-year-old, but the club faces competition from Blackburn, Middlesborough and his former club Norwich.
Toffolo was contracted to the Lions in 2018 but was released at the end of the season when he joined Lincoln City on a two-year deal.
