PALACE have missed out on another midfielder as Manchester United's Donny Van De Beek has joined Everton.
The Selhurst club were heavily interested in bringing the Dutchman to London but have missed out.
Van De Beek will now link up with the Toffees new manager Frank Lampard for the remainder of the season.
The Merseyside based club do not have the option to make the move permanent.
Palace had begun negotiating a deal with the player after Dennis Bergkamp - who is the father of the player's girlfriend - triggered talks.
Palace are still yet to sign a first-team player during the current window.
