PALACE have dropped their interest in signing former Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey from Juventus.
The midfielder has been reported to want a move back to the Premier League and specifically London.
Ramsey is also believed to have been interested in working with Palace manager Patrick Vieira.
However, a report in the Daily Mail has suggested that the Eagles have decided not to move on with any formal efforts to sign the 31-year-old.
Ramsey is currently on a contract worth £400,000 per week making any deal difficult to finance even if he took a considerable wage cut.
That has reportedly led to several clubs making loan offers to the Serie A giants to take the 31-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.
Reports claimed that the former Arsenal star has turned down approaches to return to the Premier League from such as Newcastle, Wolves, Burnley, plus the opportunity to move to Spain with a couple of clubs.
