MILLWALL lost in the dying seconds to Bristol Rovers thanks to an injury time winner from Rovers's Lewis Haldane.
Ali Fuseini had earlier scored his first goal of the season to give Millwall a 7th minute lead with a 20 yard drive.
But Rovers scored twice in the final quarter of the game to earn their first home win of the season and send Millwall into the relegation zone.
Rovers equalised through a 78th minute penalty converted by Richard Lambert after a foul by Zak Whitbread on Bristol's Andrew Williams.
The Lions were worthy leaders going into the half time break, and looked to be in control until Rovers were awarded a lifeline penalty.
Millwall could have restored their advantage two minutes from time when Jamie O'Hara's free kick was headed on to Will Hoskins at the far post, but he failed to make proper contact with the ball.
Then in the fourth minute of stoppage time, a lack of concentration from Zoumana Bakayogo gifted Rovers with the winner, and condemned the Lions to their 9th defeat of the season.
