Bromley were dumped out of the FA Trophy at the first hurdle as they were comprehensively outplayed by Dorking Wanderers.
With Chris Bush suspended Neil Smith had to reshape his team with Luke Coulson slotting in at right back and Michael Klass coming in to midfield.
Bromley started the game in positive fashion, but never really created clear chances, the closest coming when Klass fired over.
Dorking then came into things with Ryan Huddart making two great saves to deny Jack Barham and Luke Moore.
As the game opened up Ben Williamson headed a Sam Wood cross wide, while at the other end Isaac Philpot saw his header saved by Huddart.
Bromley started to drop deeper as the half went on and fell behind on 32 minutes when a cross from the right was headed home by Barham who had briefly played for Bromley last season.
The Ravens tried to respond when Michael Cheek headed a Frankie Raymond ball over and Williamson hit a powerful drive that hit the foot of the post.
Late in the half Sam Beard was lucky to escape punishment when he kicked Jack Holland in the ribs when challenging for a ball, the Bromley skipper requiring lengthy treatment.
The second half saw Neil Smith change the shape of the team with Bingham coming in to the middle of a back three.
The home side then went on to dominate the game and went 2-0 up on 51minutes when Barham found Tom Richards who picked the ball up out wide and drove it low in to the far corner of the goal.
Williamson missed A good chance for Bromley firing over from close range soon after and Raymond put a free kick over, but they never really got any momentum going.
The match was killed off on 72 Minutes when shambolic defending saw James McShane set up Jason Prior to crash the ball past Huddart giving him no chance.
Wood shot over and Cheek hit a chance straight at Slavo Huk from close range from a Holland knock down, but The Ravens never looked like coming back into things.
Late on Raymond fouled Dan Gallagher on the edge of the box who was booked for his reaction to the Challenge, but Huddart saved Moore’s resulting free kick to keep the score down to three.
This was an afternoon to forget for Bromley who were second best all game and unable to match the efforts of a motivated home side from a division below.
