Crystal Palace’s goalless draw with Everton may not live long in the memory but maybe one moment will.
Vicente Guaita’s save to deny Cenk Tosun got a lot of fans talking.
The Spaniard has established himself as the club’s number one in the second half of the season and with saves like Saturday’s stop, it’s hard to see Wayne Hennessey getting his spot back anytime soon.

The 34-year-old had endeared himself to the Eagles faithful before helping Roy Hodgson pick a point up against Marco Silva’s Toffees, but his stand out performance will have cemented his spot with the fans further.

World class save from Guita #CPFC

Was the Guita save as good as it looked from the Arthur? #cpfc

- Don’t think that was as uninspiring as some are making out. Would’ve taken a Point beforehand. Everton are a very good Side

- Notable mentions to Kelly, Dann, AWB & our 3 CMs. Outstanding Today
- Vincente absolutely sensational. We don’t deserve him.
- Lets beat Cardiff #CPFC
Have a look at @vguaita13 save in a game situation before calling this "amazing."

That my friends is the save of the Season. #CPFC
I need a good angle of that Guaita save ASAP.
— CPFC HQ (@CPFCHQ) April 27, 2019
In real time, it looked like one of the best saves I’ve ever seen (fairly sure I’ve said this a few times about VG this season) - I hope it looks as good in the replays. #CPFC
That save from Guaita though ... 😍 #cpfc

Terrible game today. But Vinnies save was a thing of beauty. The rest? Meh. The fact that Cardiff couldn’t even beat Fulham seals their fate I think. We’ll send them down next week (which is a bit of a shame re Brighton). #CPFC

To save the editors of #MOTD the bother: 5 seconds for the Guaita save, 10 seconds for the wind’s shot that hit the bar, 20 seconds for a montage of Everton corners, 0 seconds for our chances. I’d bung on half a Tom and Jerry for the rest #CPFC

Anyone got a video of that Guaita save? Outrageously good #cpfc
— Connor Winks (@ConnorWinks) April 27, 2019
That save from Guaita was incredible #cpfc

The only thing on our 3 minutes MOTD highlight I want to see is that Guaita save.
— Lynne (@ljbrameld) April 27, 2019
The man’s a genius #CPFC 🦅
That was my last game of the season & a 3 month break is good timing after that but a solid point nonetheless. That Guaita save though 👏🏻 🔴🔵#cpfc
— Phil (@PhilJW103) April 27, 2019
One of the best saves I have ever seen. What a save @vguaita13 👌#cpfc
— Danny Lee (@D8nnyHeth) April 27, 2019
The only highlight worth noting from that game was save of the season from @vguaita13 . Incredible #cpfc
