Here's how the player's rated from Charlton's 1-0 win over Bradford City:
Dillon Phillips
Had little to do in terms of shots on target but looks an improved keeper in the air selecting to catch and punch at the right moments. Composed with ball at feet he fully deserves the praise Lee Bowyer has been giving him and goalkeeper coach Andy Marshall. 7
Anfernee Dijksteel
One of his best games in a Charlton shirt. Going forward he provided width and was often an outlet down the right. Looked comfortable on the ball but was caught out of position a few times in the second half when his confidence was high after a great opening 45. 7
Patrick Bauer
A near certain goal saving block in the first half underlying his commitment to the Addicks this season. Rumours of a move away have begun, and on performances like today there will be many more. 7

Nabby Sarr
Confidence is high in the Frenchman and it showed as he slotted back in alongside the German. Often looked for the killer ball when a simpler pass was on, and when they don’t come-off, they get noticed. 6
Ben Purrington
Tough challenge against a good winger in David Ball. Struggled in the opening quarter but the opener settled him. Some great link up play with Aribo and Cullen ahead of him, he’s solved the left-back problem no doubt. 7
Ben Reeves
A quiet game from the former MK Dons man. Did the dirty work in the middle of the park but very rarely got the ball on to his wand of a left-foot to make things happen. 6
Joe Aribo
Looks so at ease at this level and any talk of a move to the higher tiers is justified. A big unit that’s near impossible to get off the ball he can do it all. Not his finest game by any means but the one and looked like he could lift his game another two gears if he wanted to. 7
Jonny Williams
The live-wire gets bums off seats, but today was guilty of holding on to the ball too long. He clearly looks a step-up in level and in his eagerness to show the fans what he’s capable of it could be a case of ‘trying to hard.’ Still, so exciting to watch when he gets the ball. 7
Josh Cullen
Sitting at the base of the diamond his reading of the game, and his bravery in tackle is something to admire. Bielik has big shoes to fill, but Cullen is a more than adequate. Ran the show. 8
Igor Vetokele
Should’ve grabbed a goal in the first half but denied through a great save. Defended from the front and his closing down of the back four really put the Addicks on the front foot. That said, in terms of threat to goal, the Angolan offered little, but chances will come. 6
Lyle Taylor
Champions League to Sunday League. Undoubtedly the Addicks key-man. Got the goal and nearly produced a ‘worldy,’ striking the post from the edge of the box after picking it up from his own half. Then missed a ‘sitter’ that ‘Big Dave’ from the ‘Rose and Crown’ would’ve buried. 8

On for Jonny Williams on the hour but had little impact. 5
