Promotion will hold the key to whether The Valley will see Krystian Bielik and Patrick Bauer play for Charlton next season.
The futures of both men were discussed at Tuesday’s fans forum at the ground and Head of Recruitment Steve Gallen made supporters aware that getting to the Championship would be vital in player retention.
Bielik who is on loan from Arsenal, and Bauer whose contract is up in the summer, have been pivotal in Charlton’s drive for promotion this season, but going up a division is key.
Gallen praised owner Roland Duchatelet for keeping hold of the German at the start of the season amid interest from other clubs.
