Despite scoring Charlton’s goals in their 2-1 win at Wimbledon, Lee Bowyer had a strong message for Naby Sarr and Igor Vetokele.
Sarr’s free-kick and Vetokele’s last minute strike earned The Addicks a crucial three points in a thrilling second half display at Kingsmeadow and leaves them fifth in League One.
The manager, who watched from the stands for the majority of the second half was left waxing lyrical over Sarr’s effort while he had a strong message for Vetokele.
“He’s got a beautiful left foot hasn’t he?!” said Bowyer.
“He’s probably the best finisher in training, and he’s a centre half!
“He’s got 100% record, six or seven other players have four or five goes and they don’t hit the target!
“I put my house on it that Naby will take the next free kick next Saturday.”

Vetokele, who scored his first goal since returning from injury, started on the bench after some lacklustre performances recently.
With January signing Josh Parker ruled out with a virus during the week, the Angolan was challenged by the manager to up his game.
“I told him, ‘Igor, I want more from you!’
“He hasn’t been good in training but he’s got an opportunity now.
“Lyle is our only striker, there’s an opportunity for you, grab it, Why wouldn’t you grab it?!
“Make an impact, and he did.”
