Charlton are close to inflicting some real damage on an opponent according to Lee Bowyer.
The Addicks manager believes that with the style of football his side play, teams in the division can’t keep up with them at times.
After seeing his side come from a goal down at Wimbledon to steal three points at the death to consolidate fifth place, the manager believes his side will soon produce a ruthless display.
“I believe we are going to thump someone soon,” said Bowyer.
“We are getting in to very good areas a lot of the times and sooner or later these chances we will take them.
“I believe in them all the time.
“I see them and know what they are capable of doing, and that second half is what I see all the time.
“Our fitness is key.
“We move the ball and keep going to the end.
“They looked tired, people get frustrated but sometimes you got to keep the ball and they get tired.
“We wear the teams out and find someone falls to sleep.
“We do that quite a lot.”

Bowyer saw goals from Naby Sarr and Igor Vetokele cancel out Michael Folivi’s first half effort to give his side a crucial three points at Kingsmeadow.
The manager, who was sent to the stands early in the second half praised his side’s performance after the break and claimed they’re a different side to years gone by.
“The first half was not acceptable, it doesn’t matter how good you are in possession if you don’t fight to get the ball, if you don’t have the ball you’ll lose.
“We got bullied in the past, but not any more.”
