An injury time winner from Murray Wallace witnessed Millwall add Everton to their list of Premier League scalps in the FA Cup.
The Lions came from behind on two separate occasions after goals from Richarlison and Cenk Tosun were cancelled out by Lee Gregory and Jake Cooper.
Murray Wallace managed to poke home a Shaun Williams free-kick in the dying embers of the game to ensure the Lions ran out as 3-2 victors and progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Here is how we rated Millwall’s players...
Jordan Archer – 5 - He let the nerves get the better of him on a few occasions after a few half-hearted clearances fell to a Everton payer. He was beaten too easily for the opening goal, definitely a night to forget for the shot-stopper.
Murray Wallace – 8 - A night to remember for the full-back after he scored the winning goal in the last minute. His cautious approach to taming Ademola Lookman paid off. The full-back gave the ex-Charlton winger a few yards of space and did not lunge into any tackles.
Jake Cooper – 8 - The defender proved why he is the Lions' most offensive threat. Every set-piece was aimed at him and you can see why. A goal and an assist for him means that he now been involved in more goals than any other Millwall player.
Shaun Hutchinson – 7 - When the central defender empties out his pockets this evening, a frustrated Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be found amongst his wallet and keys. The Lions skipper nearly rounded off his performance with a goal after his looping header was cleared of the line.
Mahlon Romeo – 6 - With a £50 million winger down his flank, the full-back was less reluctant to bomb forward and understandably so. Linked up well with O’Brien down the right hand side. Unable to do anything about the Brazilian's goal.
Ryan Tunnicliffe – 7 - The energy he brings to games seems to go unnoticed. I would not be surprised if he managed to touch every blade of grass on the pitch as on countless occasions he was tracking back to help out the defense or was breaking down Everton’s rhythm.
Ryan Leonard – 6 - The fact that the midfielder started the game with gleamingly white shorts and ended with mud-soaked ones showed how hard he worked.
Shaun Williams – 6 - Deployed as the anchor of a midfield trio and controlled the little possession that Millwall had.
Shane Ferguson – 7 - As expected his set-piece deliveries caused Everton problems. His first created the chance that saw Hutchinson’s header cleared off the line and a second met Cooper which assisted Gregory.
Aiden O’Brien – 6 - He provided the flair that was thought to be missing due to Jed Wallace’s absence. A counter-attacking run saw him waltz his way through four Everton players. However, he was non-existent in the final third and therefore did not create anything too threating.
Lee Gregory – 7 - The former non-league striker held his own against the center back pairing of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane. He constantly found space in behind and his looping header on the stroke of half-time brought the Lions back into the game.
