Crystal Palace are set to rival Newcastle United in their attempts in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham has impressed whilst on-loan at Championship side Aston Villa this season scoring 12-goals with the Villains.
Newcastle were keen to take the striker to St James’ Park but it’s thought The Eagles are ready to swoop in and offer the 21-year-old a route back to London.

Abraham has flourished in the midlands but the lure of Premiership football would appeal to the former Swansea and Bristol City man would be too great to turn down.
With a price-tag of around £10million it is thought Chelsea would be willing to part with the man that has only made three senior appearances for the Blues.
Abraham’s only real stint in the top flight came for Swansea last season where he scored five goals in 15 appearances.
Ironically, his arrival at Selhurst Park would signal the end of former Swansea team-mate Jordan Ayew’s stint under Roy Hodgson after failing to register a goal this term.
