Conor McLaughlin is your Millwall Christmas Calender number Two
The Northern Ireland International has had a frustrating second season for the Lions. Having signed last season from Fleetwood town, the full back played 24 times during the 17/18 campaign and was a part of the back four that that went on the 18 game unbeaten run.

However, McLaughlin only has 6 appearances to his name so far as Harris has used him as a rotation player who plays second fiddle to the preferred Mahlon Romeo.
He was given chances against QPR, Rotherham and Norwich to prove his case but all ended in defeats.
The most memorable of those games is QPR. He was tormented by former Lion Eberechi Eze for 90 minutes and was at fault their opening goal.

In fact Mclaughlin is yet to be on a winning side this season, with his appearance against Leeds United being the only game where the Lions gained points.
Mclaughlin is suffering from what is known as second season syndrome and Harris is aware of it.
Now 27, the fullback should be in the peak of his career but he is failing miserably to reach the levels that saw him cement his place in the side last season.
