Millwall’s Tom Bradshaw's knee surgery earlier this week was a success according to the striker and now the 'extensive rehabilitation programme begins.'
The club released a statement and Bradshaw took to social media to update fans on the knee ligament injury picked up in the 2-0 defeat at Brentford on November 3.
Millwall manager Neil Harris had indicated the extent Bradshaw’s injury after last weekend’s 4-3 defeat at Norwich, with the prospect of losing the former Barnsley man for the remainder of the season.
The 26-year-old had his operation on Tuesday at Cromwell Hospital and is expected not to return until the start of 2019/20 pre-season training.
The operation went really well.. everyone at Cromwell hospital has been brilliant, especially surgeon Simon Ball and his team! Thank you for all the great messages of support, really means… https://t.co/FLGYMaoHXS
