Igor Vetokele has been ruled out of Charlton’s clash against Oxford with a groin injury.

The Addicks striker is yet to start a league game under boss Lee Bowyer, but netted twice in their history-making 8-0 win over Stevenage in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier this month.

Bowyer said: “He picked up a little groin strain yesterday in a little game he was playing in.

“So he won’t be available on Tuesday.

“From what I hear, maybe Saturday, but hopefully he’ll be back for Saturday. It’s too early to tell.”
