Charlton defender Lewis Page has been ruled out for six weeks.
The left-back was forced off in the fifth minute of Charlton’s 5-3 defeat to Scunthorpe with a groin injury on Tuesday.
With no other senior left-back, Chris Solly was forced to cover for him in today’s 2-1 reverse against Coventry.
Addicks manager Lee Bowyer said: “He’s out for six weeks. [It seems like] all our injuries are six to eight weeks.
“Page is six weeks. It is what it is. We’ve got to get on with it. We have to pull together - we win together, we lose together.
“That’s football. It’s not like we’re getting outplayed and outfought. The football is good. We’ve just got to cut out these small things.
“If you stop those small things then you go on big runs. I have no doubt we’ll go on a big run.”
Meanwhile, Mark Marshall is fully fit, but Bowyer has left him out of the last two matchday squads in favour of youngster Albie Morgan.
