Player ratings from Charlton’s 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury...
Ben Amos - 7 - Saved his second penalty of the season, but couldn't do anything about the goals.
Chris Solly - 5 - A below-par display from Mr Consistent. He allowed Rodman to cut in for Shrewsbury’s opener.
Ezri Konsa - 5 - Once again, he struggled with the physicality of a target man - this time it was Carlton Morris who caused the youngster problems.
Jason Pearce - 4 - He never looked composed on the ball. It was only his second league start since September so he should be given the benefit of the doubt.
Jay Dasilva - 7 - Charlton’s best player by a country mile today. Never stopped trying to attack. Hopefully his injury isn't too serious.
Ahmed Kashi - 6 - He was good in the first-half but lost the ball too many times in the second period.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 5 - Outmuscled by Shrewsbury’s captain Abu Ogogo and was rarely given time on the ball.
Mark Marshall - 4 - It just didn't happen for him today. Subbed off before the hour mark.
Joe Aribo - 5 - He ended up playing at left-back when Dasilva went off. He couldn't replicate his fantastic performance against MK Dons.
Sullay Kaikai - 5 - Looked bright in the opening 10 minutes. You could say ‘give him time’ but with games running out, Charlton need Kaikai to start performing now.
Josh Magennis - 5 - He fed off scraps for the entire game. Often isolated up top.
Subs:
Tariqe Fosu - 5
Nicky Ajose - 4
Michal Zyro - N/A
