Charlton boss Karl Robinson is set to call referee bosses following his side’s 1-1 draw against Bradford.
Tyrell Robinson’s 80th-minute header cancelled out Josh Magennis’ opener to leave the Addicks winless in three games.
Tariqe Fosu, Sullay Kaikai and Jake Forster-Caskey were subjected to nasty challenges on Tuesday evening.
And Robinson wants answers from the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), the organisation in charge of referees.
The Liverpudlian told News Shopper: “We were the better team. The second-half was balanced and even. We both had a go. It was one the best first halves I’ve seen here for a long, long time.
“The refree [Nick Kinseley] lost control of the game. They weren't just fouls, were they?
“The top managers talk about protection on the flair players but today Tariqe Fosu and Sullay Kaikai got some horrendous treatment.
“In future games, these players have to be protected. I’ll be calling the PGMOL after this game. It’s now six games where the flair players are getting treatment beyond the laws of the game.
“Jake Forster-Caskey gets caught round the knee, then he pushes the player and both get booked for the same thing. You've got to make sure you keep doing the right things.
“It’s not like we’re conceding late goals by poor play. I’m more concerned about the players’ protection.
“Some of the tackles, in my view, were frustrating. Chris Solly’s tackle wasn't good either, so we can’t have it both ways.”
