Karl Robinson and Ben Amos have been nominated for the League One Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards for October.

Charlton boss Robinson won three of his four games in charge, while Amos starred for the Addicks.

The Bolton goalkeeper, who is on a season-long loan at the Valley, made two crucial saves late on to preserve a 1-0 win over promotion rivals Bradford.

He kept three clean sheets and only conceded one goal last month.

Charlton’s impressive October form has seen them climb to fourth with a game in hand.

They are unbeaten in seven league games and look like serious contenders for a top-two finish.
