Karl Robinson says Karlan Ahearne-Grant must take his chance to regain a place in the Charlton squad.
Ahearne-Grant, 20, was left out of the 18-man squad which won 3-1 at Fleetwood on Saturday.
He has featured heavily from the bench this season, and started in the 1-1 draw against Bury last month.
But the forward has dropped down the pecking order following the return of fit-again duo Mark Marshall and Ben Reeves.

Valley boss Robinson believes Addicks academy graduate Ahearne-Grant will get another chance to impress.
The Liverpudlian told News Shopper: “He just needs to keep working hard.
“Listen, chances will come. Because our squad is so small, your chance will come again – and when it comes - take it.
“And we’ve got to have that mentality right through the club.”
