Charlton midfielder Ben Reeves is set to play in a reserve game next week to build up his fitness.
The summer signing has not trained with the Addicks since featuring in their midweek cup win against Crawley.
Subsequently, he failed to make the bench in Charlton’s 4-3 win over Oldham on Saturday.
Addicks boss Karl Robinson said: “Reevesy trained this morning, he’s still stiff. It’s just his whole body. It’s just fatigue having not had a pre-season.

“He’s had three days off now, he’ll train next week. We need to get him some games, 20 minutes here, 20 minutes there behind closed doors rather than starting him.
“We need to get him minutes. He hasn't had a pre-season and I can’t throw him in for 60, 70 minutes - no player can do that.
“The problem is Lee Novak missed pre-season and kept getting rushed back and kept breaking down. That would've been the case with any player. It’s the same with Mark Marshall, we can’t be too impatient.”
