Charlton Athletic's influential defender Jason Pearce has signed up to play for the Addicks for the next three years, the club has announced.
The centre-half has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at The Valley until 2020.
Pearce, 29, was a key figure in the Charlton defence that finished 13th in League One in 2016/17, despite missing a significant amount of time on the pitch through injury.
Upon his return, the Addicks went on their best run of the year, amassing 13 points from five games, including a 3-0 victory over Swindon Town at home on the last day.
Speaking about his ambitions for next season, he said: “I want to keep progressing and be at a progressive club, and I believe that Charlton is the right place for me.
“Hopefully the fans and the club have seen what I can bring to the team, and I hope that I can be part of getting the club up to where it belongs.”
