Karel Fraeye will meet Charlton owner Roland Duchatelet this afternoon, although the Addicks caretaker boss has played down the significance of the exchange.
Duchatelet has been in London this week and has held meetings at the Valley.
The Belgian tycoon is expected to fly home before Charlton’s Championship clash with Leeds on Saturday, but not before meeting with Fraeye.

The Interim Head Coach said: “I speak with him [Duchatelet] from time to time and I know he’s here.
“I think it’s quite normal that he’s here from time to time at the club.
“We spoke on Sunday after the game, we will probably meet each other this afternoon for a general chat.”
When asked by News Shopper what the context of Sunday’s discussion was, the 38-year-old responded: “He was very pleased with the performance [against Brighton] and congratulated us with the first half.
“He was as gutted as much as we were that in the end we left empty handed.”
Fraeye was appointed Interim Head Coach on October 25 following Guy Luzon's sacking.
