Millwall star Jimmy Abdou has revealed his concern for his brother’s safety during the Paris attacks.
Friday night’s deadly attacks in the French capital hit a concert hall, the Stade de France stadium and several restaurants and bars, leaving at least 129 people dead and hundreds wounded.
The devastating event was particularly alarming for Abdou, who has said his brother was in Paris during the attack.

The 31-year-old Frenchman told the Millwall website: “My brother was in Paris on Friday. He went to Disneyland with friends. I was worrying because I couldn’t get hold of him but eventually he rang.”
Abdou, who has been abscent from the Millwall squad since suffering an injury in the 5-3 defeat at Peterborough, added: “We have to show character and not weakness.
“Playing the game on Tuesday [England v France at Wembley] shows that. It will be more than a game, the world will be watching I’m sure.
“Everyone wants to stay strong, look forward and work together to stop this sort of thing occurring in the future.”
