While Millwall eased into the third round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy last week with a 2-0 victory over Northampton, Neil Harris has insisted he’s not dreaming of a Wembley final just yet.
The Lions moved ever closer to a dream final at the 70,000 capacity stadium following the comfortable win over the League Two outfit at The Den.
Millwall will make the trip to Plymouth in the next round of the competition, but Harris refused to look ahead to a possible showdown at the national stadium.
“We’re just thinking about the next game - I know that’s really boring,” he said.
“It’s early days and there’s still some good teams left in the competition.
MORE: I'm still learning and loving it, says Harris
“What I can do with this competition is to tell the players to go out and enjoy themselves.
The 38-year-old added: “We wanted to get through because I hate losing, I want to win every game.
“We’ve got a lot of work to do, there’s a lot to improve on, but that’s three wins in four.”
