Lawrie Wilson remains in Guy Luzon’s plans for now after the versatile Addick was this week linked with a move to Huddersfield Town.
The 27-year-old has been an unused sub in all of Luzon’s games since the Israeli took charge at The Valley.
But the head coach expects him to feature between now and May as Charlton bid to fight their way out of relegation trouble.
Luzon said: “Lawrie Wilson is part of the team, he will stay here.
“I think Lawrie is a good player.
“We have a lot of games until the end of the season and I’m sure that he will help us.”
Charlton’s search for a new striker, however, looks like it might continue for a bit longer.
“We want to add some players but the problem is now in the market there are not a lot of available players.
“But we will do our maximum to recruit other players.”
Luzon also ruled out a possible return to The Valley from Reza Ghoochannejhad, who remains on loan at Al_Kuwait until the end of the season.
