Bob Peeters believes Charlton can win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday if they can reproduce last week’s performance against Ipswich.
Charlton lost deep into stoppage time when substitute and debutant Noel Hunt made it 1-0.
Peeters’ team had made numerous chances before that point, however, and the manager remains encouraged that they did so.
“Away from home it’s always difficult, especially at Nottingham Forest, but if we keep on producing the way we’ve been playing, we’re gonna win games,” he said.
“The first 10 games of the season they were on fire.
"And they still have a good home reputation.
“It’s going to be a very tough game.
“But I have confidence in my team.
“If we keep on playing the way we’ve been playing, especially against Ipswich, we’re gonna get results.”
Charlton and Forest both have 28 points from 19 Championship fixtures so far this season.
