Bob Peeters has ruled Stephen Henderson out of Saturday’s fixture with Ipswich Town.
The Charlton goalkeeper injured his shoulder in the build-up to last weekend’s 0-0 draw at home to Millwall.
Late replacement Nick Pope kept a clean sheet in his absence and will again deputise on Saturday.
“He’s not going to be available," Peeters said.
“He’s struggling with a tendon in his shoulder.
“If we play him or let him train, he could be out for a long time.
“Nick Pope did terrific so we need to give him all the credit and support him, because he was one of our best players on Saturday.”
Midfielder Yoni Buyens is also likely to miss out.
“Yoni Buyens is struggling with his hamstring,” Peeters said.
“We’re going to see tomorrow whether he can train or not.
“Otherwise we will not play him on Saturday, so hopefully he can be fit for the next game (away at Nottingham Forest).”
