The 24-year-old promises to bring goals with him to SE7 having struck 14 times for Coventry City last season.
He becomes the latest Belgian to be signed by new boss Bob Peeters following the earlier captures of striker Igor Vetokele and fellow midfield ace Yoni Buyens.
Starting his carrer as a youngster with Anderlecht and West Ham, Moussa made his professional debut for Southend United in 2006 before going on to sign for Leicester City and Coventry City.
He represrented the Sky Blues 77 times after joining the League One side in 2012 and now has his eyes on helping Charlton regain their top flight status for the first time since 2007.
Moussa told cafc.co.uk: “To me I’ve only known Charlton as a Premier League club.
“The fact they’re not there at the moment just tells me that they will want to go back there at some time and I’m sure that will happen.
“I’m just glad to be part of this football club and hopefully we will have some success.”
