Millwall have snapped up Lee Gregory from FC Halifax Town on a three-year deal.
The prolific striker was on target 31 times for the Conference side last season and was linked with several clubs including Celtic, Cardiff and Derby.
But it is Lions boss Ian Holloway who has won the race for the 25-year-old electrician’s signature.
The Den chief said: “As a player Lee’s movement and finishing reminds me of Neil Harris, and if he can enjoy anything like Chopper’s success at Millwall, I’ll be delighted.
“I think our fans will take to him and he'll score goals for us next season.”
