Charlton and Millwall have been handed home ties in this morning’s League Cup first round draw.
The Addicks are set to entertain League One Colchester at The Valley, while the Lions will be strong favourites to overcome League Two Wycombe at The Den.
But despite both of our representatives being in the Championship, they will need to be wary of the threat posed by their opponents judging by the last encounters.
Charlton were beaten 2-0 by Colchester when the two sides met at The Valley two years ago in League One, while Wycombe completed a League One double over Millwall in 2009-10.
