FANS have their final opportunity to vote for Charlton’s 2012/13 player of the year before Saturday’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The winning player will be revealed at the annual player of the year dinner, but all tickets for the Valley event on May 5 have sold out.

Meanwhile, the club is canvassing supporters’ opinions on the next entrants to the Charlton Hall of Fame.

Nine players, ranging from Harold Hobbis to Richard Rufus, have been nominated to join Derek Hales, Sam Bartram and Clive Mendonca in the Addicks annals, and fans can have their say via http://svy.mk/10ASU1X.

The winning three players will be announced on May 5.

TONIGHT sees Bromley Addicks host the eighth annual pairs quiz at Bromley Conservative Club, 27 Elmfield Road, Bromley BR1 (8pm).

Thwre will be 100 questions asked about Charlton, and only Charlton, ranging from very easy to almost impossible.

Bromley Addicks will also play host to director Richard Murray on May 1, again at 8pm.

The event is open to all Bromley Addicks members, although non -members can join on the night.

SATURDAY’S 6-0 win against Barnsley saw Charlton record their record away win and the first time the Addicks had scored six goals in a game since September 1976.

The victory surpassed the club’s previous best on the road, a 6-1 triumph against Luton Town in February 1962, and it was also the first time that six different Charlton players had scored in the same match.

FANS can once more buy 2013/14 season tickets at The Valley after they went back on sale on Monday morning.

ALTHOUGH unable to match the margin of the first team’s success the same day, Charlton’s U18s defeated Bristol City 5-0 on Saturday and won the Professional Development League Two – South in the process.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant (2), Oliver Muldoon, Tobi Sho-Silva and Diego Poyet were on target as the Addicks clinched a play-off place against the runners-up of the northern league on a date yet to be determined.

It was a second win in four days for Charlton, with Harry Gerard and Ahearne-Grant on target in a 2-0 victory against Colchester United last Wednesday.

TICKETS for Charlton’s final away match of 2013/14 against Middlesbrough on April 27 (3pm) are on general sale, priced £27 adults, £17 over 65s and £14 U18s.

BRIGHTON & Hove Albion are the opponents for Charlton’s U21s tonight as the Addicks continue their hunt for the league title.

Joe Pigott scored twice in stoppage time as the Addicks came from behind to defeat Ipswich Town 3-2 at Portman Road on April 8, after Harry Lennon had equalised.

Charlton also take on Millwall on Monday afternoon in their final league fixture as they aim to win the Professional Development League Two – South.

TICKETS are on general sale for Charlton’s home matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday (3pm) and the final game of 2012/13 against Bristol City on May 4 (12.45pm).

THE Charlton women’s team climbed to sixth in Premier League, National Division table by defeating leaders Sunderland 2-1 on Sunday thanks to a last-minute Gemma Shepherd penalty.

It was Shepherd’s second of the game, and the Addicks are next in action away at Barnet on Sunday.

BRADLEY Wright-Phillips scored twice as loan club Brentford defeated Portsmouth 3-2 on Saturday.

The striker is seeking a second League One promotion in two seasons after helping the Addicks to the title last May.

MICHAEL Smith and Nick Pope last week extended their loan stays with Colchester United and Cambridge United respectively until the end of the season.

Striker Smith was absent from the U’s squad that lost 3-1 to Notts County on Saturday, while keeper Pope made a string of saves in Cambridge’s 2-1 win against Barrow AFC to condemn their opponents to relegation from the Conference.
