THE NHS is obviously struggling but I must thank all the staff who helped me when I recently had to go to the Princess Royal University Hospital with stomach pains.
From the moment I arrived at Urgent Care, through examinations, surgery and the treatment from staff afterwards, I was impressed with everyone who dealt with me.
The nurses were always busy but made every effort to make me comfortable and help with more painkillers.
Having heard bad things about hospital care going downhill, I felt I had to balance things.
Maybe we will get a government that cares about the NHS and realises its importance sometime in the future.
Until then I am sure everyone is doing their best to care for patients in difficult circumstances.
