A CADET raised a very good point with me some weeks ago: "What if an aircraft breaches Olympic air space?"
I told him it would be destroyed.
He then added: "What happens to the debris?"
This set me thinking, would the insurance companies pay out?
Probably not with all the small print.
Would the government take responsibility?
Is it fit for purpose to do so?
According to the Armed Forces Supporting Olympic Security quote: "Government compensation would be assessed on a case by case basis".
Now, if you have no faith in the present government, I would sell up and leave the country before the Olympics.
