I WANT to add my whinge to those of many others about Bromley Council.
Does anyone out there know where all the brains of council people have gone?
Last year, we were treated, with our money, to a brand-new pavement and road, albeit it was cheap and nasty.
This year, and just three days before youngsters went back to school after their summer break, the road and pavement have been dug up again to lay pipes.
We have Charles Darwin School in our road.
The work has severely jeopardised the safety of pupils crossing the road between one green and red light.
It has led to people jumping lights, holes in the road and inadequate barriers between moving traffic and pedestrians.
The council also put up a speed sign on the pavement.
Guess what? It took them two months and three attempts at digging in the right place, usually with about three weeks in between, to find the right place.
This has led to another ugly three roughly patched holes in the pavement.
I still don't think it even works to this day.
