REMEMBER DIANA: Following the sad death of Diana, Princess of Wales in August 1997 the then leader of Greenwich Council, Len Diwallobe, promised there would be a permanent memorial to her in Greenwich. Ten years on, this still not has been done. It would be nice if this could be done in time for the 10th anniversary, with a plaque in the heart of Greenwich or a tree in Greenwich Park named in Diana's memory. Let's hope this will not be another promise that will not be met. We owe this to Diana, the mother of our future king.

PUT THEM IN STOCKS: Bring back stocks. I have supported this idea for months. Prison is useless, it makes criminals heroes. My view is that no person likes being laughed at. Hence my remedy - put them in the stocks on a very public place for a short period. Quick results I feel sure.
