AS A bus driver in Orpington I can fully understand the problem passengers face when getting on our buses.
Bus drivers have to put up with the foul language and abuse all day, every day.
Drivers are bound by rules of their company not to get out of their cab due to health and safety reasons and if they do, this leads to disciplinary action.
As for the increasing problems, everyone should point the finger at London Mayor Ken Livingstone and Transport for London for allowing youths to travel free and use buses as a mobile youth club.
So the next time you use a bus please give a thought for the driver who is only doing his job.
We, like many members of the public, are disappointed at the way the Mayor has let us down by allowing youths free travel.
