Dartford Football Club are coming home! To the dedicated band of supporters who have helped keep the club alive, this will be a monumental occasion which is sure to be the start of a new and successful era for the club.
The new Princes Park stadium is a fantastic development of which both the town and the football club can be immensely proud.
I am sure I speak for all Darts fans when I say we are grateful to Councillor Jeremy Kite and the council, the board of directors and everybody else involved with making this dream come true.
These people have done the town proud and I call upon all football lovers in Dartford to support this brave and exciting venture by coming along to see the Darts at the super new stadium, particularly for the opening game on November 11 as it should be quite an occasion.
The Darts have a young team which is showing a lot of promise and with the new stadium there is every reason to be optimistic for the future.
Those who have not been to non-league football before will be pleasantly surprised by the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and high standard of football plus of course the state-of-the-art facilities.
So come on people of Dartford, get up to Princes Park and help put Dartford FC back on the map.
