GUARD DOG: For the past couple of months I have driven past the Vanguard Building on the A40 and chuckled away at the Dogs Trust giant inflatable dog which has been keeping guard over north west London. But now it has gone. Does anyone know of the whereabouts of this huge hound? Have Dogs Trust found it a good home? Has it gone off to help the builders at the new Wembley Stadium? This colossal canine really brightened up a dreary drive to work in the morning. The rusty skip now sitting there in its place just does not have the same effect. I say they should bring back the big Beagle.

VIADUCT: I was recently in Horton Kirby and had a pint in the pub below the viaduct. It is a wonderful piece of work and is about half a mile long. I would like to know more about the viaduct and how it was built. Can anyone help?
