RAGARDING your piece Councils Are A Load Of Wasters (News Shopper, August 2).
This is a subject close to my heart. Here we are paying high council tax, when up come the council workers watering plants in the midday sun. Not cost efficient.
If they had any sense they would know watering plants in the midday sun only kills them.
They should have put into place a plan which their workers arrange their shifts accordingly ie water plants between 5pm and 7pm. This way the plants don't suffer.
They should also place pebbles around the plants which helps to hold in moisture.
There is one rule for them and one for those who pay tax.
