I DON'T agree with the sexualisation of children and young people but I was absolutely appalled at Allan Williams's letter Crazy Choice of Child's Clothes (News Shopper, July 26).
Why would he pull his car over to tell a stranger her daughter looked nice, when he thought she was inappropriately dressed?
More disturbing was the suggestion children wearing T-shirts which show their midriffs would attract paedophiles.
Most sexual abuse is perpetrated by a family member or friend known to the child and the child's family.
Sexual predators and paedophiles are the ones in the wrong not the victims they attack and abuse.
How dare he suggest a child abuse victim is in any way responsible for what happened to them?
Mr Williams needs to reassess his attitude.
