AT LAST Crayford's roads are getting a facelift, but will it help Crayfords residents or shopkeepers?
No, unless they have plans to control the traffic and keep the lorries away, with the noise pollution and congestion they inflict on pedestrians.
I am sure people would love to be able to walk around our park by the river and visit the friendly pubs, cafes and shops in a nice quiet environment.
HGVs shouldn't have to use our streets to reach the Acorn Estate.
I know I have said this before but because horses and carts carried coal along our roads many years ago it doesn't mean we have to endure traffic problems in this day and age.
