Far from asking the police to rethink the dispersal orders as these are pushing gangs of youths from Bromley to Croydon (News Shopper, January 18) I think they should extend it.
Why doesn't Croydon issue its own dispersal orders, which in turn would push the problem towards Reigate and Redhill, then they do the same?
Eventually the gangs will be pushed (hopefully) as far as Beachy Head where they will all congregate and (again, hopefully) jump off like the lemmings they are.
This would have the added benefit of helping fight cliff erosion, thereby helping to preserve this wonderful island of ours for those law-abiding citizens who respect it.
