As a resident I am outraged that the fiasco over parking at the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, goes on.
Our road has seen a marked increase in staff parking since the introduction of these parking charges.
It appears the hospital's employees have chosen yet again to park for free in neighbouring roads.
Only last year the council spent £3,000 of taxpayers' money to ease the traffic mess caused by the hospital and our road was one of those which had to have parking restrictions enforced due to road safety issues caused by the parking.
It appears this trust feels it unnecessary to use consultation in the process but prefers instead to dictate terms and conditions whatever the consequences to the community.
However, I am confused why nursing staff feel £15 per month is unreasonable for the privilege of parking directly outside their place of work.
Many other employees do not have that luxury and have no choice other than to pay bus, train and/or tube fares every day of the week in order to earn a living.
It would be interesting to get the trust's comments on this situation.
