I AM sure all News Shopper readers would have witnessed the great demonstration of humanitarianism shown to us by the people we elect to eventually run our country, on behalf of its people.
I give you the British politician.
We have all witnessed the hunting down of the blind secretary of education who was forced to resign.
No-one ever thought he was dishonest.
Now we have a Liberal Democrat leader being honest with his electorate and admitting he has a problem and is now being pilloried by those who fancy their chances at his job.
I wonder if the biblical saying "let he who casts the first stone" means anything at all to our political bloodhounds whatever their party.
These people are all fighting for money and power and it doesn't matter who gets in the way, as they will character assisinate them if at all possible.
Just stop and think about the rotten smell which drifts out of those famous houses on the banks of the Thames every now and again and say "oh well, we put them there".
Everyone of us worries about terrorism but fancy being involved in politics.
If you have been a bit of a lad in your time, you would never know who is going to jump out of Parliament's panelling and wave your happy misdoings in front of you.
I wonder how many of these politicians have many years of undetected crime under their recriminating belts.
We should be proud in regard to our politicians.
After all, they represent us the real people.
If you ever feel the urge to join this friendly bunch of glory seekers, don't ever turn your back to them.
In the words of Tiny Tim, "I say God bless us everyone, we need it".
