I WOULD like to express my disgust and contempt at irresponsible dog owners who still think it acceptable to let their precious mutt foul our footways.
When will these people learn? Do they not read the signs the council put up?
Walking to the station is like an obstacle course first thing in the morning and somewhat stomach churning at that time of day.
The signs clearly state, pick it up and take it with you.
For those of you who don't or more to the point, can't be bothered, what's your problem?
If you can't be responsible for the pet, why have it in the first place?
I don't want to face this sort of mess on the pavement at any time and I don't want it all over my shoes.
And I certainly don't wish to subject fellow commuters to the smell early in the morning. The trains are bad enough as it is.
This is not an attack on the responsible people, just on those who don't to give a thought to others.
And before the do-gooders get agitated and accuse me of being a miserable old bloke I'm not. I'm young and an animal lover. Please be responsible.
