For some reason my paper recycling is never collected.
When I moved to this house five years ago, my recycling bin was stolen the first week.
I telephoned the council for a new bin, which never arrived.
I went to the Civic Centre and was given a new bin. I left it outside and it was never collected.
I telephoned Bromley Council refuse department and was assured it would be collected within two days.
This did not happen.
In desperation, I threatened to dump the lot at the doors of the Civic Centre. I was assured collection would be made within two days. No result.
After Christmas I decided to try again. This was on January 6. I called the council on January 9 and spoke to Neil. He seemed to be concerned and surprised when I told him the problem and suggested I call my councillor.
He would contact John Bosley the manager immediately and have my papers removed by 5pm on Wednesday, January 11.
The papers are still there. I am now at the stage where I do not want to recycle any more.
Would you take up my case and find out why my paper recycling has been abandoned by Bromley Council?
