Having lived in Dartford for more than 13 years, I am an avid supporter of keeping Dartford shopping alive.
Unfortunately due to the change in parking guidelines in the Priory/Sainsbury's car park, we will now be forced to shop elsewhere.
The risk put upon Dartford shoppers is too great under the legislation of the bully-boy wheel clampers now in place.
As I am sure you agree, the inconvenience of carrying the weekly shop up flights of stairs, or across the town is just too much.
Only this week I witnessed one of the wheel clampers using aggressive and foul language to a lady with children.
Despite the fact the lady was in tears, the guy was demanding £120.
These lower-than-life wheel clampers cannot work out how to use the ticket machines themselves and do not display parking tickets.
Strangely enough they will never be clamped.
