As a Lewisham resident, teacher and campaigner with Greenwich and Lewisham Friends of the Earth, I was really encouraged by the outcome of the recent public meeting on climate change in Catford.
A lively and constructive discussion took place between Joan Ruddock MP, Steve Bullock, and members of the public.
It was also great to see Councillors Andrew Brown, Darren Johnson and Mark Morris at the meeting, all working together towards the same goal: securing a stable and healthy environment in Lewisham.
